Our
story
A Whole new level of entertainment
tThat was the ultimate goal that drove Monty and Kerri Lockyear to start a new venture in 2018: to create something new, something active, and something social. Enter Pickleball, a sport that offers instant mastery, promotes an active lifestyle, and brings people together to socialize. Once other key ingredients were added, like outrageous events, endless games, chef-crafted food and unique cocktails, Smash Park was born.
Smash Park is your ultimate destination to play, drink, and eat. It’s basically, recess for adults. We serve chef-crafted food with bold flavors, craft cocktails and mocktails, and activities like pickleball, darts, axe throwing, and more. Whether you’re celebrating a birthday or just looking for a place to have some fun, Smash Park is where good food and big fun come to play.
It’s a place where you can create your own experience and do something completely different every time you visit. And with several free games, activities, and events, it’s an affordable place to spend time with friends, family and co-workers.
Smash Park’s first location opened in West Des Moines, IA in 2018. More recently, Smash Park has been taking the fun across the midwest with new locations in Minnesota, Nebraska, and Ohio.
